So, who am I?
From in-house to agency, from one hemisphere to another. It’s definitely been one hell of a ride.
I’ve worked for a racing equipment brand and wrecked a knee at the world’s most popular skateboarding magazine. I’ve advertised Korean cars in Asia, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. I did my time on Madison Avenue and even went to a party at Timothy Leary’s house. I’ve seen and done things far beyond the expectations of a first-generation Cuban American kid from Miami.
More recently, I’ve spent nearly five years immersed in the fascinating world of supply chain consulting. Starting at Chainalytics and continuing at NTT DATA after its late-2022 acquisition of the former, I went from a neophyte to having a solid working knowledge of supply chains. Learning about new industries and market sectors is a great perk of being a content copywriter.
My freelance projects have focused on lead generation. This is one area where my combination of strategic and creative abilities has made a difference.
I’ve called many places home but have lived in Atlanta for a decade. When I can find the time, I write, read, do fitness-y stuff, watch Formula 1, and go electric kart racing.
I’m also nursing a performance-enhancing espresso addiction (it comes along with the Cuban roots), but please don’t hold that against me.
